Doctors and Knowledge

She is confused and hurts but does not want to take the time to change her antidepressant now.

She tells me that all of her doctors, her pain management doctor and now her new consultation endocrinologist, are doing more and more of the same thing and it is making her worse.

She tells me all they do is give her more vitamin D and more calcium and this is only making her make more bone where she is not supposed to be doing that.

She is pretty a with-it lady. I have told her I will look at the tests. I tried to call them right away. It seemed to me that the problem could be in another area of bone metabolism that they had not tested.

I called her docs immediately. This omission, if it is what she said (and she is pretty reliable) could be killing her. They could be killing her.

They have not returned my calls. She missed her appointment with me this week because she was admitted to the hospital through the emergency room.

Perhaps I serve, although I can only sit and wait. It is now the weekend, and nobody returns calls.
