I’m Back In Business In The OC

I am opening a new practice in Orange County, California.  You may have seen me mention it on IU.  Those of you who have followed me know what I stand for.  My affiliation with New Day Psychotherapy Group in Brea, California will be structured to permit me to practice the way I believe psychiatry should be practiced.

Nutritional and alternative treatments will be prescribed for people for whom psychotropic drugs are not the best choice. Whatever is the best treatment for you; I will find it, seeking to make you feel heard, understood, accepted, and validated.  I am surrounded by psychotherapists who use a variety of modalities.  The idea is to help you achieve the changes you want to achieve in a way that is both effective and comfortable for you.

Talk to me.  Ask me questions.  Better yet, come and see me.  The staff here are all friendly people who love their work dearly.  I am  proud of this practice and proud to invite patients here.  Although the plans aren’t finalized, we will probably have our open house in January. Be sure to check out the practice web page using the link above.  Come see me and get acquainted.  Send people who need help to see me.  I always seem to be interested in folks who struggle somewhere in the spaces between medical specialties.  Maybe you are struggling with a tough medical diagnosis and the side effects of treatment.  I’m not afraid to dive in.  I have practiced and taken training in other specialties.  I have also worked with veterans.  I have been called the “doctor of last resort.”

Humans are my favorite species on earth, whether I am helping them solve their problems like a puzzle-box (bringing in all the other doctors and records it takes) of just act old-fashioned friendly and make you smile (I’ll bet I will!).  “Never give up Never Surrender” is one of my mottos.  Another is “I love my patients well.”
